As it happens, I managed to score an XR45-S with serial #31. The freaky thing is that I already had the  XR9-L with serial #31. I think it would be awesome to have the XR9-S with serial #31. Anyone here have that? can we do a trade?

Sweet Cgs and gl on finding the other needle
Hey, I figured if it were to happen, it would probably happen here. Just the fact that I have two with the same #'s astonishes me.

I think those early Ser #s are sitting in gun safes.  Seems like we lost a lot of early forum members since the Bond deal.  I agree this is the spot to find it.  I would renew this discussion every week hoping to get a response,  Good luck to you.  This would be awsome find,  Keep an eye on the "guns for sale" sites.  Anything can happen.

I would have guessed that the 9mm (both long and short) would have a single pool of serial numbers, but that's only a guess.  Mark could probably say for sure.

No, the XR9-L serials start with an L and the XR9-S serials start with an S.

nice...

i am the proud owner of an XR9 shorty #13...

very fortunate to get a shorty from the start.

I'm 3 spots behind you with the first "S" out the factory door to a paying customer.
