"Blazer 124 GR for range ammo (cheap aluminum casings so I shouldn't be surprised there), but also having a few issues with American Eagle 124 gr FMJ and Hornady 124 gr XTP."

The timing with the re-issue of the Onyx and the debut of the short-stroke trigger are about the same - I'm thinking about 4 weeks from now.  As far as night sights - we have a supplier onboard who does excellent work and actually needs the work right now - this is the best offer we have gotten so far.  I will be keeping everyone posted on progress.

Rich  -  In size the Solo and the XR9s are very close to the same size.  The Boberg does feel larger in my pocket which is in part due to the holster I use.  The Boberg rides a little higher in my jeans pocket.  I just weighed both of them and the Solo weighs 19.8 oz. with 7 rounds of 124 gr ammo,  The Boberg weighs 21.5 oz. with eight rounds of 124 gr ammo so that adds to the difference.  They are both approaching the limit as far as "pocketability goes for me.

I have talked to Arne about the velocity tests I have ran and he acknowledges what I found.  I find it strange that he also quotes energy values all the time and the fact is higher energy really does not have much to do with the man stopping effects of a certain round.

The main thing I like about the Boberg is how accurate it is and also how easy it is to shoot compared to the Kimber and a PM9.  That said, both of those guns are not hard to shoot and both are plenty accurate for their intended use.

Rich,

I am interested in selling, not giving away my spot in the queue.  Arne has already responded to my question via e-mail and said he will do it, just to tell him what name to swap positions with.  He also said that he's about to send out my notification for purchase off the queue, possibly tomorrow.  Rich it you want my spot, you'll have to make me an offer very quick. I'm not looking to get rich,Rich!  If we can agree on price, ( just the finder's fee, the rest is between you and Arne) as soon as I get your money order, I'll tell Arne to swap our names in the queue.  That means you'll be buying a Shorty immediately.  Answer me via e-mail: IMFIFTY@AOL.COM.
